Ferryfolk 1.1 Update


Some minor fixes in this version, mostly adding a bit of callout text to elaborate a bit on the gameplay loop.

For example, it can be a little unclear when you should consider the Memory resolved or failed. The idea here is that you discover through play who your fare is, so it'll become apparent when the memory is resolved.

Here's an example:

The players have entered a childhood memory for Jim, our example CEO. Jim has to show his report card to one of his parents, but Jim knows his dad will be angry when he finds out that Jim has several F's. His mom is nowhere to be found, like usual. The players decide to go looking for Mom, since she'll be sympathetic, but they're unable to do so. Finally, they decide to just change the grades on the card and have Jim show that to his father. They succeed, and we learn through play that Jim actually did fake his grades, cementing his belief that cheating is the most effective way to get ahead, even though adult Jim doesn't realize it.

I've also timed some of the game loop, and River Hazard -> Resolve Memory takes about 30 minutes, though you can take longer or shorter if your group is really engaged with an island (or not).
