Cursed Library of Gro'Thell

Welcome, delvers of lost places, to the Cursed Library of Gro'Thell - a place of learning and pushing the boundaries of what magic (and morality) can accomplish. In this 3rd-ish level  adventure for Shadowdark RPG you will explore a library filled to the brim with forbidden knowledge, treasure, and just a few too many oozes. But you should hurry, there's evidence that some other group has entered the library first and claimed the secrets therein for their own.

This 14 page adventure features:

• 2 floors, connected by winding hallways and devious traps
• 2 defined entrances - even more if your players are creative (or have explosives)
• A new creature - the Arcane Ooze along with its 5 subtypes
• NPC Crawlers both living and dead
• Edible books (for those players that just have to lick everything).

Disclaimers

This is an early release - It's gone through one round of editing, but the writing is still a little rough in spots, and most importantly it has not yet been playtested. It will be, eventually, but I do not presently have a timetable for it. If you do run it, please let me know how it goes!

I wrote this in part of a blog series and I was having so much fun with the maps I decided to turn it into a full mini-adventure. Primarily I'm testing out a style of presentation that I'm particularly pleased with - a descriptive system for the rooms in the more traditional style, along with a tag system for "what is in the room at a glance". I'd really love feedback on the layout, feel free to comment on the page.
